Petite LouLou Creperie + Bar à Vins
Bienvenue à la Petite Chef Cooking School, a series of fun + interactive cooking classes teaching aspiring gourmands with an introduction to the culinary arts. Each two-hour class will start with a culinary game to expand the palate and introduce new ingredients such as blind taste tests and veggie bingo, followed by a group technique lesson then small group recipe preparation.
Taught by celebrated chef (and father of four young chefs-in-training) Stefano Frigerio and the Petite Loulou culinary team, the La Petite Chef cooking class series will inspire a love and exploration of food in a fun environment.
All students will receive an apron and chef’s hat, and will take home a recipe and their dish.
SEPTEMBER: Apples! Test taste varieties of apples, make pie crust and French apple tart tatin.
OCTOBER: Pumpkin soup, cooking with pumpkin and pumpkin painting
NOVEMBER: Fruit tarts – explore international fruits and make custom fruit tarts
DECEMBER: No cooking class – come use your skills to decorate a gingerbread house at our Gingerbread House Decorating Party.
JANUARY: Chocolate tasting: Explore different types of chocolate, make molded chocolates, create a box of chocolates.
FEBRUARY: Homemade Nutella: Make a homemade chocolate hazelnut spread
MARCH: Savory crepes: making crepe batter, creating and test tasting savory crepe combinations
* La Petite Chef cooking school is for children ages 6-12. One parent/guardian must remain on site during the class. *
