Campers will be divided into teams with approximately 5-6 youth and a teen counselor. Each group will be making the same recipes which will serve as that day’s lunch.
Each day of camp will start with greetings an overview of the day’s activities, introduction of guest Chefs and explanation of procedures, food safety, and knife handling techniques. Then introduce the world region we will be preparing food from that day.
Monday: Native American
Thursday: Mediterranean/ European
Friday: Latino (Parent’s and family members welcome to join us for lunch at noon)
Food Safety, Nutrition, Proper use of Kitchen Equipment, Cooking Techniques & Cultural Lessons.
